BC recently confirmed that Eastwick is dead in the water, and will not have any orders for more episodes any time in the future. Logic would dictate then that LOST, which seems to have lost its cozy spot at 9/8 C on Wednesday nights, would move in to fill the gap in January.

Maybe not. Insiders at ABC have reportedly told the folks at eonline.com that Ugly Betty is eyeing that spot hungrily, and may actually steal that from LOST as well.

A move to Wednesdays makes sense for the floundering comedy, considering that two of ABC’s new comedies, Modern Family and Cougar Town, are flourishing on Wednesday nights. If Ugly Betty were to move in to capitalize on the viewers for those two shows, ABC would have an even stronger comedy lineup for Wednesday nights.

So what does this mean for the poor, homeless LOST? Do the islanders get last pick because they’re on their way out?

The short answer is that not even Damon Lindelof, one of the LOST masters, doesn’t even know the answer to that question. Lindelof recently told USA Today that he has no idea where ABC is going to put LOST (but also said that he loves ABC’s Wednesday night comedies).

We will let you know as soon as there is any official word on where LOST is going to find its home this season. Don’t forget to watch the slideshow below!
